"Black and Red Petals"
by Mark Alexander©
I am your Gardner, take my white
and green stained hand,
On a Bed of Red and Black Petals,
where their are no thorns,
except nails and teeth,
thrashing around like little kids
in a mountain of leaves.
Let them Trickle down, trickle down,
throwing upward and falling from above,
petals become hanging snow, never cold and
warm bodies touch and behold.
Let them stick to our faces,
and our flesh, sweet kisses are delicious.
O'Mother Earth, the smell is sweet and bold,
I want to plant a rose garden in your soul,
the earth beneath on a bed of petal leaves.
Let your nails dig into this Garden,
such rich soil, giving life to the earth,
Your chest is red quivering to a boil.
Now let me descend upon thee like falling rain,
I come to nourish your pain.
