Blind
by A.J. Huffman
Folds of black
fabric erase the tangible, open
the possible. Breathing
behind me, a ghost of the future,
you are hovering. Pleasure
flushes my skin.
I am warm when fingers find me.
I collapse into anonymous
embrace. Our bodies
recognize each other despite the darkness.
Your mouth hesitates too long.
My breast rises to meet it.
Tongues turn into stars. Electricity
is a completed kiss. Without lips
we tell each other a lifetime
of need and want. We dance
the pathways of longing, a united flowing,
uphill. We are smoke,
converging on flame. Two sparks,
we burn desire till dawn.
