Moving Mountains

Have you felt it?

The slip of summer skin

crossed your burned back.

Let their fingers find

and unfold

the parts of you that sweat.

Slicked,

you part

move, oceanic shifts change the landscape.

Two mountains morphing

merging.

Reclining into valleys and ridges

Pour into me,

a drought rocked by torrential downpour

Grand Canyon filled brim

Pour me over

bring water to new shores.

Tectonic climax shifts continents to new places.

Moved people, move people

I am taking you all with me.
