cup my nape like you’re ready to drink
the morning chill from my tongue’s
embrace me
like a precious memory
of a present that could have been.
desperate to feel, you grab what you can:
the salience of my hips,
my juice-able rear.
you leave your scent in my hair, specks
under my nails, teeth marks that stay tender
